So EXCITED! INTERNSHIP!
Bismillah. Huaaaaaaaaa...been so........... so.... so.... long and I really miss you Bloggy! Many comments arrived in my email and I really happy that people feel so joyful with me in this blog. So thank you for motivates me especially for you the one who gimme comments about this blog, (I do not know your name, but..my best regards..) to still write again and again here. :) Thank you thank you :)
Life is unexpected and more more more exciting lately. Many things I want to write here aaah...yes so many things! As I write in the tittle, yes, it is I-N-T-E-R-N-S-H-I-P! Now I'm gonna talk about my Internship program. :) :)
Internship was not something interesting for me before. When people are in their busy to looking for a company for their internship. I just did not do a lot. But but but.. when I was so tired about my class that constrain me to work around the clock; sleepless then made me got very sore head, I just thought that.. " I really wanna do my internship faster and faster and get a-normal-work-time! :'') And wanna live normally, healthy, pokoknya better than my life in design world. It doesn't mean I do not love my major, Visual Communication Design, no, I do love my major and so proud to be part of it. I feel so great to know more what is design exactly. AMAZING! But I just don't want to work unhealthy because Graphic design is not my main passion. My friends are having passion in design. Even they're also live the life like that, they just feel so happy and still health(some). But I am not like that :( But I still love and proud to be a design student 8-)
Back to internship..hehe. Okay finally I applied only two company which are Pertamina Hulu Energy (PHE) and Indofarma. Both of them are BUMN if I'm not wrong ya. So different from my friends that they're looking for graphic house company and advertising. Sometimes feel so..um...gimana ya.. But REALLY this is MY WAY! it is like a traumatic about "sore head" I was afraid there is something in my head because it was really hurt and my heart said that..it is because I always projecting around the clock..sleepless about two or three days.. :' Ps: I do not blame design's life, but it's just constrain me to be like that. Still I love design. And proud to be designer. It's not something easy. It's expensive, it's a gift, and special. :)
Again, back to internship..hehe. Then finally... *drums roll* I got Pertamina Hulu Energy Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) as my place to do my intership program. Alhamdulillah. (What? Pertamina? "Irna is going to design a kaleng minyak may be?") hehehee.. I placed in Communication division. (WOW! that is what I WANT!) Communication is also need person who have skill in design. But design is not my main job. Even my basic is in design, I'm pretty sure that I can contribute much to this company at least do something to help them. No, I don't wanna be useless. I WILL LEARN A LOT, DO MY VERY BEST, DILIGENT :)))) hihihi.
My first week
It was on April 1st 2013. Wore a brown formal outfit. First met with Pak Hedi from HR. Then delivered to meet Pak Adit. Pak Adit is my supervisor, He is still young and asked me to call him Adit only because called as Pak Adit makes him feel so old haha but I can't cz I feel so impolite to do so x). Then Pad adit bring me to the whole room(almost) in 3rd floor. Meet many people and only a few I remember their name :") After Pak Adit, I also met my another supervisor; Mba Hanna and Mba Chichi. They are pretty kind. Mba Hanna still looks young even she has two children x) Mba chichi is also nice.From Mba chichi I learn how to make a call order (or what we call that I do not know x_x) like order hotels by phone, or a place for gathering It's somethng new for me and nice.
I did many design things is the first week. Editorial for newspaper, many announcements, meeting in Delico, and so on. So far I always do work, not santai-santai like have no job. Alhamdulillah, there is always something to do. and if I have not, I asked. I PROMISE TO LEARN AGAIN AND AGAIN... I wish as time goes by I'm getting closer with communication's world, understand more and skillful on that way.
I am now facing my second week. Now I am gonna go Field trip to Bandung and Indramayu until Sunday! Several minutes later!!!! I was excited that I can join this. This is for me to learn a lot isn't it?
Oya, I also happy about my desk. It's white and quite wide! I love this desk anyway! :)

ReplyDeleteAnyway, I just wanna say welcome to the Internship phase, the real situation of working and great time to learn a bunch of new things that doesn't exist in campus life :)..
Very glad to know that you do your internship at Pertamina Hulu Energy (sounds like a huge company and product). I think that's an Important BUMN in our country.
About the passion in VCD, I really sure you can manage and change it slow but sure to the right and positive directions in point of you (crossed finger). The main things if I may suggest is always do the best you can and enjoy it, because with enjoying your work will help to make good results of task and good relation with fellow friend at working situation. There is still long way to go until August, hope you can nailed all of it.
Have a great field trip, take every lesson that you can learn there and don't forget to always keep the spirit up, in working environment or in Blogging... :D Ups, one more thing, always accompany your efforts with Doa. I believe you can through this all in nice and easy way...
