February 2015

In the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalamualaikum everyone! It was since November I have not share anthing  yet. But don’t you know? From November until now, February, I had been through many things that i do not know what to say Oh Ya Allah it is just like.. all the feelings cames at one time. I was facing the situation that could change my life. Got the deal again with the word “ikhlas” , “surrender” (and I know that learning and understanding those things will be never end until we go back to Allah SWT.) and I really realize that myself have no power, you know, laa haula walaa quwwata illa billah. It’s really true that there is no power or any ability except from Allah SWT.  We are human. Allah created us. Without His help I may be in lost.
Learning process is always happens everytime. Through what we feel, what we see, through what happens around us. Through mistakes, missunderstanding, bad things, and nice things. And all the things that happens are the gift. Yes, it is a gift. Alhamdulillah.
I have posted about my “another phase of life”. Now I have more complete story to share. I do not know, I feel that I found many lessons and I want to share them to you.

First, about Choice.
“do I really have a choice?”

It was in the begining at the new department in my office I feel some pain (I’m so sorry for saying this) but I could not share here the reason why.  But in my last post I said:
There will always be pain and pleasure.
And there will always be fear, that you can change into power.”
When I feel those feelings, I was asking Allah to make my feeling better.
Then, somebody called me. She is a General Manager of a company, approached me for a job that interest me pretty much. Sure, I’m excited. Then I met her (somebody who called me). She want me to join her team. Considering my condition lately, of course I’d love to say "yes!". And I thought “Oh Allah, did YOU answer my prays right now?” I found some dots of Brightness.

In the other hand,
My manager (in my office at that time) told me that I have to prepare my self because I will get promotion to be a team leader. So I feel like I have a choice between..become a team leader or move on. I thought about it for a long time, I talked to someone who I consider as my mentor, Pak Rizki. He said hold on. Think about it. “I don’t want you to leave this company, let’s face the challenge together.” That is the conclusion of our meeting that time.

I also talked to my friend. I guess he could gimme another perpective and yes he can. He said, “you have three choices;
1. you leave,
2. Stay and you just need to be patience,
3. Stay, and change the condition! And I suggest you to choose number three.”
He said that everywhere we are, we might be face something we don't like. So it’s not about the environment or places; it is not about “where we are” but “WHO WE ARE?” how we face it. I remember what he said “karena sesuatu yang kurang enak, tantangan, keadaan yang susah, itulah yang akan membentuk kita.” He is right tho.

“do I really have a choice between stay and leave?”
I said to my friend “I think I dont need to choose, let Allah show me the way.” I was so sure that I don’t need to decide anything but let Allah show me what should I do next. Even in my deepest heart I know what I want: I really want to leave.

But it was right. Someone who approached me called me again, and she said “Dear Irna, I am so sorry that I could not aprroach you because of “something” (I couldn’t say here) and I can approach you again in one or two years after you resign from your current company.
I was so sad and hopeless. I can be approached after one or two years after my resignation? :’( Yes, this is the answer. I was right that I don’t need to choose between stay and leave. Allah show me the the way.

Oh Ya Allah YOU know this is not what I want. But I have to face this. I have to trust YOU that this is the best from YOU. It’s okay to be sad, it’s okay… I just have to wait for another “surprise”

After that, the condition was getting better. There were many things that make me happy in there such as I have Ka Tiara who are really nice, we can laugh together all day long. I have A Oda too, he is very kind and also smart, and some another friends in the office. I’m also happy with this department’s new morning spirit habit. We started to recite Qur’an together every morning. I can go home with my friend too (since it’s quite far between home and office). But one thing left behind in my mind:

I don’t believe in choice anymore. I don’t think that I need to pray for what I want anymore. It was only “Ya Allah, You know what’s the best for me and I don’t know at all. I don’t wanna ask you what I want because I don’t know if it’s good or not for me. And I’m afraid I will be sad if I pray for what I want but then it’s not good for me. So Ya Allah just give me a beautiful heart which can be grateful for whatever you gave me. And make me happy because I'm feel so close to You."

Then, the condition was getting worse again. But again, I could not talk to anyone about this. Nobody even my friends at office understand exactly the reason why and I could not tell them at all.

I feel something “blue”, I have no clue. Condition and situation started from 9am in the morning untill 7pm was full of sadness in the deepest of heart , I feel uncomfortable. I could not describe what happened. But the good things is.. every dhuha, dzuhur and ashar I can really feel selfless in my shalat and pray. I tell Allah what I feel and with full of resignation and I ask HIM to give me a brighter way. I was always crying in front my creator and it was felt so wonderful. It was happened everyday..There is always a bright side even in the darkness. I also felt grateful and I was realized that without that condition may be I wont feel that wonderful selfless with full hope resignation in my shalat and prays

It was about a month in that ‘worst’ condition, while I was seeking another path for my carrier at that time, somebody called me.

“Assalamualaikum Irna,”
“Waalaikumsalam..Ms..”
“Apa kabar.. gimana disana? Kamu masih mau ngga sama tawaran saya?”

I am sure you all do understand how does it feel :’) I don’t want to say loud it here just lemme keep it only between me and Allah. All praises to HIM.

So Allah has already answer my pray after those sadness feelings. In the end I am grateful for all the things happened. Without feel the sadness, we might be never know what happiness is.

"Fa innama al usri yusra..innama al usri yusra"
we know that Allah knows what’s the best for us while we don’t know. I am waiting for your thought in comment okay? And thank you for reading this very long post :’) See you in the next post insha Allah.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious Most Merciful

Hello & Assalamualaikum everyone, How are yoouu? Been so long! I'm so happy now because finnaly I can blogging again since it's hard to find any longer time to write because..well it's not because business thing but only because when I had free time, my body was asking me to irnaa...lay down..and...SLEEP!! >.< you know working life is so different from college life when it's quite easy to spend all night long without sleeping but now it's like soo hard for me to keep my eyes opened at night :3. On the other time when I had a time to write, I can be such a lazy bum at times. It is time to get my self motivation back on track. Or..I had too much thought in my head so when I'm gonna start to write it's like..you know..mmmm....which topic that I will talk about first? and finally I had no idea :p

Well I'm now on my lunch time in my office, guess it's quite a good time to write. But by the way do you know where I'm working right now? :") I'm gonna talk about that. My another phase of life; a workplace. :)

So here I'm, working in Shafira Corporation. A Fashion world! A Muslim Fashion world.
I was excited at the first time when I seen the videos about this biggest Islamic fashion company in Indonesia.
It's fashion, It's Islamic, It's the biggest in Indonesia. All I want is there!

And actually at the same time, I was in process in joining another place to work which is in Oil and Gas Company. (actually it was also my dream-workplace when I was in elementary school. I said to my self that one day I want to work in oil and gas company. Maybe because..ya, I was kid and it's cool to see my brother working in there. only because of that he he he I was kid I don't understand anything about work. ) As if you have read my older post, that dream was came true when I was doing my internship in Pertamina. I was feel so happy about that, I was learnt many things there I was sooo soooo sooo grateful because I think I can improve my skill (beside graphic design) and gained many knowledge. In my last period they asked me to come back after graduate. So then, before graduation, even before my thesis defense, they called me to apply ASAP and it's like they told me that I have to prepare my self to work there. Well but I didn't do that because at that time I was on my hectic period; preparing my thesis defense. And after graduate, I did what they asked..with my pleasure, of course. And followed the process.

I was remember when I'm in middle of my Internship period, one year ago... I had the most favorite serial movie in my laptop, it was Jane by Design. Have you watch it?? I'm sooooooo in love with that movie! And I was thinking to have experience in fashion world, I really want to have another internship experience; in fashion industry. When I saw Jane it's like I'm supposed to "live" in that world. And I also have a dream; someday if I have my own lil family, I think I don't wanna be a carrier woman who will spend their most of time in workplace because my main job at that time will be as a wife. or..mother? owww! >.< so I want to have my own business. And that kind of business is in fashion world. Have a boutique in my house will be nice! or..in a mall? plus web-store? or in front of my house? or....let's dream! he he he
So when I saw the video of Shafira Corporation, I feel like.. that's the one, maybe? And I tried to apply.

One of my best friend, also work in there! And she told me that HR department in Shafco was looking for a graphic designer but it's for internship or freelance. And I said well it's okay, so that while I'm waiting the process in Pertamina, I can use my time to work there as a freelancer or internee there.

SO, I went to attend an interview as internee/freelancer in Shafco, but suddenly the HR manager offered me to work full time there, to work with Digital Marketing team. I want to! but..what about Pertamina?

And, but, um, unfortunately, I mean..fortunately. :) the process in that oil and gas company was not as smooth as I imagined. the process was took a long time.. But let's skip this story. :) Let's say that all the things happen to us has already planned by HIM, the ONE who knows the best for us. So I believe that whatever happened before, it was for the best.

Before I joined this company, one of my friend said this to me:
Irna, bekerja dimana saja yang penting baik dan halal. Pilihlah pekerjaan yang bisa membuat Irna punya banyak waktu luang untuk Ibadah. Karena rezeki kita sudah terjamin, sedangkan Ibadah kita belum terjamin. Tapi, bukan berarti jadi malas-malasan..hanya saja jangan pernah sekali-kali menggantungkan rezeki kita dari pekerjaan tersebut, karena rezeki itu murni dari Allah.

I understood and kept that thought tightly in my head.
And this is what made me sure that this company would be a right & good place for me to work :

"InsyaAllah cocok di cultural nya Shafco yang Islami ya Irna. :)
Selain bekerja kamu juga bisa berdakwah dan ibadah secara positif. Insya Allah. Bismillah
Kita semua yang Insya Allah banyak belajar dengan Irna. Termasuk saya.
Keep up the Great Spirit! :)
-from the HR Manager the day after I had interview.

Sooo....Alhamdulillah, now I'm in this place. Joining Shafco since August 25, 2014.
The dream come true? 'generally', yes. :)

I faced my first month in Shafco happily. I'm so grateful that beside working, I feel like I have new family there since people there are sooo lovely. And one thing that I love is I have a manager who..I dunno how to describe..He is smart! (of course! He's a manager x_x) when I had a sharing session with him I just feel so clicked and everything I talked were always conected and we have the same way in seeing things. My spirits always burned, it's like on-fires everytime I talked to him. That's the thing that makes me grateful the most. May be someday if you be a boss you should be that kind of leader ;)

Then, reading Qur'an and pray together every morning before we start to work is an AWESOME culture in Shafco, especially in my department at that time. That also the thing that makes me grateful. We also go for having lunch together, "hajar rame-rame!" :)). By the way I also have learnt many things about HR world. It's like connecting the dots. I love to read about human capital, people development in my favorite blog; strategimanajemen.net since I was in High School. So! to be a part of HR department is a big wow for me. It's fashion, it's islamic, it's the biggest, I do design thing, and it's about people development! complete, MashaaAllah.

But because my contract was with Digital Marketing department, I have to start work with the DIGMAR team after have done some project in HR for about 1,5 months .
And it's like...new adaptation. Different environment, different team, different leader, all is different. There is no reading Qur'an every morning anymore, there is no go-for-having-lunch together, and..there's no another woman at the first time. I was the one and only. Fear, pain, all at the same time. But..

There will always be pain and pleasure.
And there will always be fear, that you can change into power.

And have you ever read this sentence? :
"Relationship is like a house. When a light-bulb burns out, you don't go and buy a new house, you fix the light-bulb."
Ya it might not always be for woman-man relationship but maybe for a men-office relationship :p
My friend also said to me that Allah will never ever put us in the wrong place. I also feel that this place is potential for me to "grow up" inshaaAllah. It's all depend on me.

And now my adaptation is getting better, I think. The Digmar Team are also nice, they are smart, and now, there is another woman in the room, finally. AND..we read Qur'an every morning before we start working alhamdulillah :') And I was so happy when I hear some of them reading Qur'an beautifully (I have to learn from them!). See, it's just need to start! the fact is, I can see that we all love this "morning spirit" habit. I'm really hopping that we can keep this habit "alive" not for a short time because actually this is Shafco's organization culture since it was built.

Well by the way some people doesn't know about Shafira Corporation. I can tell you a lil bit maybe?
So, Shafco was founded 25 years ago by Ibu Fenny Mustafa; a woman who has a very beautiful niyah; it's for da'wah. She wanted to make hijab become popular at that time because 25 years ago, hijab was still felt strange around people even for Muslim. And you know, Allah will help them who doing things for da'wah. We can see how Allah make this company survive for more than 25 years and it's growing bigger and bigger and if I'm not mistaken this company has about 2000 employees right now, mashaaAllah :)

And here they are, 11 brands of Shafira Corporation :

So that's pretty much it. Alhamdulillah for HIS blessings. I believe whatever happened, it was for the best. Past is past. I'll embrace every moment of my life, while I can. I'm waiting for what's coming next. May Allah ease my journey (and your journey too) in this world and of course, in the hereafter.

See you, inshaa Allah :)

Salam Everyone :) Been so long! hope live being nice to you as they are to me. More than nice by the way, it's unexpected! Many stories haven't shared and... lil'bit confuse where to start :''3 hihi

Jumat pagi ini selepas shubuh tiba di beberapa ayat Qur'an Surat Al-Hud. Ayatnya reminder banget and I want to share yo what I have red so hopefully we can remember it together

It's on verses 15 & 16

We work for money, for a proud life, or richness, we will get it as we do for it, see: "pasti Kami berikan balasan penuh atas pekerjaan mereka di dunia dengan sempurna, dan mereka di dunia tidak akan dirugikan."

But after that, the next verse is "Itulah orang-orang yang tidak memperoleh sesuatu di akhirat kecuali neraka." dan sia-sia disana apa yang telah mereka usahakan. So we search for dunya; we get it but we don't get akhirat. Sedangkan kehidupan kita yang kekalnya ada di akhirat since in dunya will be very short.Irna jadi ingat kata-kata dari Aa Gym; "Bila kita mengejar dunia, akhirat pasti akan meninggalkannya. Tapi bila mengejar akhirat (akhirat tujuannya), maka dunia akan mengikutinya!"

So what I have got, the point is.. everything we do, we work for live in dunya, it's supposed to be for akhirat. Untuk beramal as Qur'an thought. Everytime I start to work must be as my pray to Allah. "Kerjaku sebagai ibadah untukMu, karena perintahMu kepadaku untuk mencari karuniaMu, karena aku ingin banyak berbuat kebaikan untk akhiratku, banyak beramal dan beribadah seperti perintahMu kepadaku.. so I start by Your name, Ikhlas, and I will always remember You My Rabb even I have many works to do, I will put shalat at number one as a prove that I do all the things for YOU." So we can get dunya without loose akhirat inshaaAllah. Inna a'malu binniyat.. sesungguhnya setiap amal perbuatan bergantung pada niyatnya. Ketika niat kita untuk Allah yag tertinggi, we will get everything.

And then after that I red Al-Kahfi and also arrived in an verse which is really connected,
"Sesungguhnya Kami telah menjadikan apa yang ada di bumi sebagai perhiasan baginya, untuk menguji mereka, siapakah yang terbaik amal perbuatannya."

Bismillah. Salam everyone :) Hope live being nice to you and may Allah SWT. easier your ways. Same hope here, Hopefully All the things I have to done can be done in an easy way and smoothly; I can finish my Intern Report sooner and do great works for my office projects! Projects coming and coming again, unexpected. It's awesome and I'm so grateful but also I'm so...so... worry about my campus assignments and thesis. I can't choose one of them because both are important. I hope my Intern Report can be finished this week, but suddenly I have to go to office and got projects which also have to be done in few days. Is that mean that my Intern Report must be delayed? Ya I think so, the deadline of office Projects is closer.  By the way here I wanna share about my last Internship period. Yes my Intern period has ended since August but I still go there about twice (or more) a month to have meeting or meet (let's say) client. :)

It was so sad when my last day of Internship period came. Remember I have to say good bye to Mba Hanna, Mas Adit, Mba Donna, Mba Nova, Mba Chichi, Mas Dede anndddd many many moreeeee I can't mention one by one :') (But the fact is I still go there for sometimes, hihi) On the last Monday before I leave; when we had Internal meeting as usual, I said "this is my last week I'm here Mba XD.." Then Mba Donna (my manager) said, "oh iyaa! Kalo gitu kita perpisahan, bikin agenda buka puasa bareng Irna." And we decided the time. I was happy and feels so appreciated :')

Internship is the greatest thing of my campus life, so far. So if you ask me what's most favorited from my campus life? It's internship.(beside having photo booth with friends, spending the night until morning at Benhil Printing, projecting all day and night long, 3 days trying hard to do not sleep more than 3 hours, and another 'creepy' things :') )  But the things that make it great can't be happened if I didn't face the steps; semester by semester, subject by subject in my class. yes it's all about 'connecting the dots'. So, bunch of thanks to my great lecturers :)

I will never forget those 4 month, I love people there and all the things over there. Good Bye Internship! :)

My Desk at office
See some works I've done

Media Gathering-Hotel Mulia
Let's do Photo Booth before I leave! hihihi
Unfortunately I didn't captured every events in my Internship Period. Actually there are still many activities but I don't have another picture :'p

This is a gift from HSSE Department on my last week there.

Sushi Tei - Breakfasting Together on my last day!

And this is finally we had farewell (ya..little farewell) on my last day. We had dinner together at Sushi Tei. The very exciting moment was when all of them, one by one gimme some words..aaaa.. I love them :) I also gave some 'speech' to say thanks to them.. I recorded that moment so I can see the video anytime.

So it was our last time together in one time and place. I wanna say Thank youuuuu so so much for gave me a chance to get many things in this company, learn a lot I've never know before, treated me very nice like family. It was a very precious chance, precious time to improve my skills and behaves.

There is something that burns my spirit on the last day of my internship period; they are waiting for my 'return' to PHE ONWJ. Asked me to graduate FASTLY and back there soon.  hihihi... :) Let's see what Allah's perfect plan. The point is I have to do my best anywhere anytime. :)

Thank You Mba Donna, Mba Hanna, Mas Adit, Mba Chichi, Mas Hedi, Mba Nova, Mba Nisa, Mas Dede, Pa Agus, Pak De, Mas Bimo, Mba Wenny, Mba Fenita, Mba Patrice, Mba Amel, Mba Christina, Mba Lieke, Pak Johnly, Mba Dewi, Mas Alno, Mas Aldo, Mba Nuki, PDP, Pak Security lantai 3 (forgot his name, hihi) Mas Ajis, Mas Budi, Pak Supri, Drivers, etc. :)

"Irnaaa... Ga ada lo ga rame... pokoknya kamu harus pergi untuk kembali ya! I'll be missing u.." -Mba Hanna
"Dear Irna, Thank you for this 4 Months, sukses untuk Thesisnya.. ditunggu kehadirannya kembali ya.." -Mas Adit
I'm sure what I've got in my Internship period there will be very useful for my days ahead! Insha Allah :) See you on TOP, PHE ONWJ. Success!

See you in the next post! :)
